Women's Breakfast Agenda
This event can be an opportunity to share the Word, strengthen relationships, and attract new participants. We recommend holding it every three months. Below, we share a well-structured agenda to help you successfully organize this event:
1. One month before the event: Initial Planning
Define the date and place:
Date: A Saturday morning is ideal.
Location: Church, community hall, or even a large garden.
Prepare a budget:
Consider food, decorations, printed materials, and other costs.
State the topic:
Example: "Women with Purpose," "Growing in Faith," or "The Joy of the Lord."
Key verse that connects with the theme.
Invite speakers or testimonials:
An experienced woman can share a motivational message or a testimony.
Build your team:
- In charge of decoration.
- Food Manager.
- Moderator of the event.
- Prayer team.
2. Three weeks before the event: Promotion
Design and distribute invitations:
Use digital tools (WhatsApp, Canva, social media).
Distribute physical invitations at the church.
Organize a registration system:
You can use a physical list or digital forms (Google Forms or Forms from our Church Tech System).
Ask about special dietary needs (allergies, vegetarians).
Confirm the speaker and her message.
3. Two weeks before the event: Practical preparations
Plan the menu:
Simple and inexpensive options: eggs, bread, juice, coffee, fruit.
Alternative 1: Each woman can bring something to share.
Alternative 2: You can set an entrance fee of $5 and use that to cover the cost of food.
Purchase the materials and decorations:
Tablecloths, flowers, napkins, cards with verses.
Prepare activities:
Icebreaker activities or games.
Special music (live or recorded).
Raffles, lotteries, draws, etc.
Symbolic gifts (bookmarks, notebooks with verses, dividers).
4. One week before the event: Confirmations
Confirm attendance:
Call or send messages to remind the participants.
Test the logistics:
Check sound, microphones, chairs, tables, etc.
Meet with the work team:
Adjust any outstanding details.
5. The day of the event: Execution
7:30 AM - Final preparations
The team arrives early to fix the place.
Put up decorations, set the tables, and check the food.
8:30 AM - Reception and welcome
Greet the attendees with a smile.
Provide a printed or digital program of the event.
9:00 AM - Event begins
Opening prayer: Give thanks to God and entrust the event to Him.
Time of Praise.
Icebreaker activity: A brief activity to connect the attendees.
9:30 AM - Breakfast served
Organize a buffet or table service according to the chosen format.
10:15 AM - Main Message
Guest speaker shares the message (30-40 minutes).
11:00 AM - Testimonials or open participation
It provides an opportunity for women to share their testimonies or brief reflections.
11:30 AM - Final activity and farewell
Games or gifts.
Close with a prayer.
12:00 PM - End of event
Collect and thank the work team.
6. After the event: Evaluation
Meet with your team:
Discuss what went well and what can be improved.
Thanks to the participants:
Send them a message thanking them for their attendance.
Keep a record:
Write down the ideas and lessons learned for future breakfasts.
