“Hands that Bless” Project 🀲

1. General Objective

Mobilize the women of the church to serve the community by making useful products (clothing, blankets, food, cards, etc.), with the purpose of blessing people in need.


2. Specific Objectives

βœ… To foster a spirit of service and generosity among women. βœ… To create spaces of fellowship where sisters work together with a Christian purpose. βœ… To provide support to vulnerable people through items made with love and prayer. βœ… To share the gospel through every donation.


3. Project Beneficiaries

Donations can be used for:

  • Nursing homes.
  • Hospitals (patients in recovery).
  • Women in shelters or in situations of violence.
  • Families in low-income communities.
  • Brothers and sisters in the church who are going through difficult times.


4. Project Activities

Phase 1: Organization and Preparation πŸ“

πŸ“Œ Call for volunteers: Women of the congregation are invited to participate. πŸ“Œ Define skills: Identify who can sew, knit, cook, do crafts, or pack donations. πŸ“Œ Collect materials: Look for donations of fabric, yarn, kitchen supplies, cardstock, etc.


Phase 2: Production and Processing πŸŽ¨βœ‚οΈ

πŸ“Œ Work sessions: Weekly or bi-weekly meetings where projects are worked on together. πŸ“Œ Prayer for each item: Before delivering the products, a prayer is said for the people who will receive them.

Some ideas of what can be done:

  • Sewing and knitting: Blankets, scarves, hats, baby clothes to donate to hospitals or families in need.
  • Solidarity kitchen: Preparing meals to share with homeless people or families in need.
  • Crafts: Cards with encouraging verses, bags with Bible promises, Christian decorations.

Phase 3: Delivery and Evangelization πŸš—πŸ’–

πŸ“Œ Visits and donation deliveries: Teams are formed to deliver the donated items to the beneficiaries. πŸ“Œ Ministry time: A message of hope, prayer, and the Word of God is shared with the beneficiaries. πŸ“Œ Testimonies and reflection: The women are encouraged to share how this experience has impacted their lives.
