General advice

  1. Pray before the interview 🛐Before you begin, take some time to pray, asking for guidance and wisdom to formulate questions that will edify and glorify God.
  2. Research the interviewee 📖Learn about their testimony, background, and area of expertise to ask meaningful and relevant questions.
  3. Establish a friendly atmosphere 🤝Start with a warm and relaxed welcome so the person feels comfortable and can respond honestly.
  4. Ask open-ended questions 🗣️ Avoid closed-ended questions that only allow "yes" or "no" answers. Instead, use questions that encourage reflection and sharing of experiences.

Example of the interview

Opening

You can start with a powerful phrase that inspires and sets the tone for the interview. Here's one option:

"Women who walk with God make a difference in this world. Today we have the honor of speaking with a woman whose life reflects faith, purpose, and passion for Christ. Welcome!"

If you want a phrase based on the Bible, you could say:

Proverbs 31:30 reminds us, “A woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.” Today we have the privilege of hearing from a woman who has chosen to honor God with her life. Let us welcome our special guest!
